We address gaps in the training world by delivering affordable, high-quality certification courses and customized programs, covering firearms instruction (Texas LTC, NRA, and USCCA), casualty care (Red Cross First Aid/CPR), and emergency preparedness built on FEMA standards and U.S. Army doctrine. To bridge theory with practice, we incorporate replica Airsoft Guns, Gear, and Equipment (GGE) for realistic, scenario-based training that enhances learning and readiness.

Whether you are a first-time student, a recreational enthusiast, or a first responder/military professional, Black 6 Tactical provides a training environment where confidence, skill, and readiness come together—creating capable Defenders ready to protect themselves, their families, and their communities.
Danny Nelson served active-duty U.S. Army as a Tank Platoon Leader and Training Staff Officer from 2010 to 2015, including one combat deployment to Afghanistan. From 2015 to present, he continues his military service in the Army Reserve as a rare combination of Small Arms Master Gunner, Senior Observer Coach/Trainer (OC/T), and Engineer Officer.
In recent years, he gained additional experience and certifications in the firearms industry as a NRA Range Safety Officer and Basic Pistol & Rifle Instructor, as well as Texas LTC, USCCA, CMP, and American Red Cross Instructor.
Unsurprisingly, his hobbies include range time and Airsoft Military Simulations (MilSim), with aspirations to get into competitive 3-gun and duty carry competitions, along with trying his hand at joining the US Army Reserve Marksmanship Team.
